H'i Tea is based in Hana, Hawai'i. We grow C. sinensis var. sinensis and C. s. var. assamica. Our tea is grown in the lower elevations (100 ft to 1600 ft AMSL) of Maui. Our steep slopes; deep, well-drained top soil; low pH (4.5 to 5); and average rainfall of 80-100 inches, offer ideal growing conditions.

H'i Tea will offer green and black teas. Our first flush is expected in 2025 (low production testing) with full production in 2026 (anticipated yield is 70 to 630 lbs. per year). Additional production will be added in 2025 (first flush 2024) that will increase yield to 2,900 lbs. est. per year, increasing substantially thereafter.

If you are a wholesale buyer or tea broker, and wish to view H'i Tea's operation from conception to fulfillment, please subscribe. We will be offering tours on a very limited basis. Our product is 100% organic, plucked by hand. We grow to order: specific inputs and finishing are available at buyer's request.
